Good morning Thursday

Good morning all, the rain has finally stopped but the clear sky has now made it icy, so be careful out there today!

Christmas eve of course but nothing special happening here, just the usual walks with the hounds and I'll be making a curry for lunch, maybe a film this afternoon.

I'm expecting a few visitors today for my birthday. They're arranged to come at different times & spread themselves out.
I don't know if they should be coming in my house at all but I shall make sure we socially distance - it's a risk I feel worth taking..

I'm going to sit back & enjoy.

My plans have changed , now in coronary care unit again in Stoke.

At least I will not be on my own over Christmas.

anyways packing a butty and a flask and have a drive up to Silverdale and walkies around Hawes water, without going out of our tier

A couple of last minute things to buy in Ilkley today ...then the village has a Christmas eve walk with mulled wine and Christmas music all socially distanced.

Don't worry Swim, you will probably spend Christmas with more people than the rest of us! The only problem is that the hospital probably wont let you drink the 2 bottles of good wine you were having at Christmas.
Save them till the new year

The rest of you need to get to bed early too...... or Santa may not leave your presents!

Good morning everyone thank goodness the rain has stopped.

Yesterday was horrendous with torrential rain all day just to add to the existing flooding. To add to that the electricity went off for most of the time between 4pm and 10pm with just a brief interval in between . Chloe and I sat under a blanket by candlelight chatting by text messages with the family.

Ironing to do today and a little job in the garden .
