Yesterday we had a visit from granddaughter Holly with her hubby Liam & baby Coby. They just knocked on the door & walked in. I'm sure under covid rules they shouldn't have come in the house but what could I do? At least we have biggish rooms so I was able to distance myself from them.

I would have loved to cuddle Coby but used all my will power not to go near him..

Today is shopping day. Now we aren't going out for dinner there's more to get.
I hope the queues aren't too long at Tesco & I hope we get a parking spot. I hate Chistmas shopping!!

Rest of the day I will be giving the house a clean.

Tipping down here too and forecast to last all day again, although on the upside there won't be a drought over xmas...

Nothing planned today other than cooking lunch and grooming the dogs, then maybe a film this afternoon.

Good morning all heavy rain lashed on the windows through the night, still raining and more forecast throughout the day.

I have a Sainsbury’s grocery delivery due between 4 and 5pm and there will be just 1 substitution which surprised me with all the talk of shortages on the shelves. They will be replacing my order of Chantenay carrots with ordinary carrots.

Good morning everyone a horrid dark wet day .

I have done the washing, made some wholemeal bread rolls and am now waiting for some pizza dough to rise to stock the freezer.

I think I will take Chloe out early before the rain gets any heavier.
