I don't mind dying, I just don't want to be there when it happens

Re: Death

That means you are the subject, not the Observer.

Re: Death

I saw my OH die, so did my Daughter. We are not religious, but something strange did happen. It was like he waited for us to go in the room & heard us chatting, then went. We knew immediately he was gone.

Re: Death

I've witnessed death. It wasn't a problem.

Not sure if that means I'm a none thinker though.

Re: Death

I'm a deep thinker and I hope what is in my head happens when I die. I need to be with my husband and my sister for eternity. Amen xxx

Re: Death

Your questions are too cryptic to take a direct approach to Spit. I'm sure you mean them to be so. But I still always look forward to them. It's like being back in philosophy class. So I would say if you mean "nonthinker" to be one who doesn't think too deeply about anything. Some body who is concrete and not very deep (I don't mean deep in concrete. We're not in New Jersey) I suspect they would be less confronted by death than one who think deeply about the meaning of life and a possible beyond - or not. Maybe they are religious and have a deep belief in the afterlife in which case they may be less confronted about the prospect of their own death but confronted by that of another. YOur question has 100 hundred possible answers at least. Depends on whether you're talkin about your own death or that of somebody else.

Re: Death

A serious student cannot exit the Philosophy Class, they may not be visible but remain, just within earshot.

I don't believe in the existence of non thinkers.

Someone might witness a death but may be thinking about their next Happy Meal instead of concentrating on the death before them, waiting for the bucket to fall.
