Did you know straight away that you were going to marry them?

Was it Love at first sight?

Also,how do you know when you are in love with that person?

I guess it’s what defines love.

Do you also believe that there is only one true love out there for you?..or that once you have found your true love, that’s it, you will never find another?

It's late. I've got the worst head cold I've ever had. I feel like death only slightly warmed up. I had a covid test today. I am clear. So that's a good thing. But just before bed and sleep..hopefully, I will answer this.

1. Very well but I never make assumptions. Been together 35 years.
2. Yes. from the very first date I knew she was the one.

4. When you kow that you could spend the rest of your life with them. When you know you don't want anybody else. When you know you would die for them.
5. Yes I did find her. 35 years ago. If I lost her I would be content to spend the rest of my life alone.

THese questions are very easy to answer for me. I feel lucky.

Those I would have thought of as The One at 15 , 25 or even 35 would not appeal to me now so I am of the opinion that humans are not designed to be with the same person for life.

It wasn't love at first sight but I liked him, the love grew
I felt safe with him, would trust him with my life
after 52 very happy years, if I lost him no one else would ever take his place

(he does get on my nerves at times...and I know I get on his too )

For us it was second around. STAG as it is sometimes called.
