Now, it’s officially Christmas!

Us? Well for us, at least the memsahib and myself, Christmas is about joining in with what our friends and neighbours get up to but this year it's going to be very much "virtual". For us Chanukah (aka Hanukkah) is of more importance. This year it kicks in an hour before sunset on Thursday 10th Dec when the first two of NINE candles are lit

There's a shed load on the web for anyone who wants to dig deeper.


I became a born again Atheist years ago but some things, well you just remember from when you were a brat!

When I was a lad, we used to have a fish supper on Christmas Eve, then open our presents afterwards and then go to midnight mass. Christmas Day was spent playing with our prezzies and generally bumming about before having lunch and watching the queen on TV.
