A decent sort of chap and the butt of many a joke but he always took it in good humour. Another proper entertainer gone and I don't think these people are being replaced by any new talent which is a shame.
RIP Des, you have been entertaining me for the best part of my life, and with nobody to take your place, those times are now gone... And I feel like a part of my life has gone with you...
