Good morning all, cold and clear here with a sunny day in prospect for a change.

Just a pottering around sort of day ahead for me, and I will nip over to Mum's at some point to check if she's alright and to see how her new garage roof is coming along, which is being re-felted at the moment so thank goodness it's forecast dry...

Lockdown looms, so decided to redecorate the entire house to keep me busy.

Good morning everybody.

Yesterday my daughter in law Paula told us she's given up her hairdressing course. She feels it's not for her & her real forte' is working with children.
She wants more of a challenge than at the last nursery she worked at so is planning on taking a course in sign language so she can work with deaf children.

I could have told her not to bother with hairdressing when she used me as a model the other week!! lol

Today is the last day of shops being open so I am going with daughter Sue to the East Midlands Designer Outlet to do some birthday shopping. I have 3 birthdays to buy for in November & as two of them are Sue's menfolk she's coming with me to choose.

Tony is out with Ady for the day so he'll be happy. One pub we know of is selling Tony's favourite Abbot Ale at 99p a pint to get rid of it before lockdown so they'll be sure to call in there on their travels.

It has been two lovely spring days but a southerly change is due overnight so tomorrow is expected to be 10' down and wetter than the 29' of the last couple of days.

Got the mower out today to get the grass cut before the rain over the next couple of days makes it grow. afterwards had a 7km walk as I might not be able to tomorrow.

Good morning everyone a sparkling autumn day after a heavy frost, -3 in my garden.

I am off to meet my son and the 3 year old twin boys in the nature reserve for a walk , I find it so hard not to touch my grandchildren

Not sure when I will see them again, it is getting too cold to stay outside so we can only meet in good weather.

Good morning all a lovely frosty start to the day, not a cloud in the sky.

When the sun comes round to the back of the house I’ll go out in the garden to sweep up the leaves.
