That's really good. I especially like the hint of a blaze between its eyes.
Have you thought about doing time lapse photos or a flip-book type of thing to show it as it comes to life?

It is a pelham but the horse is a polo pony he has hogged mane.

So he is, Muddy. Thought you hadn't got around to adding the mane in the first picture. A lovely study, you are good at painting/drawing any animal.
