Bee v Spider

Which do you think would win?

A fight between a big furry bumble bee, and a small-ish spider?

(Will tell you the answer later).

I think sadly the spider . It will excrete its threads and capture the bee . They also bite dont they .

Caught one in my spider catcher on my bedroom ceiling , how dare it come into my house . I chucked it out the window . Hate them

Re: Bee v Spider

I hope the bee won, though I guess the spider was hungry.

I rescued a butterfly from a spiders web in the sun lounge the other day, it took me ages to carefully pull all the spider webs of the poor thing, but it flew off happily. That particular spider, who's web it was, is one of the nasty False Widows & I have been trying for ages to catch it, but it disappears into a crack in the ceiling every time, so I just destroy it's web, which it re builds every time. I will get it & when I do I'll squish it. It's the only specie of spider I do kill. They shouldn't be here.

The small spider I guess, size is not important when one opponent has superior weaponry . Logic tells me I could have a poison dart to attack people, but if a net was thrown over me, I would not get the chance to use it.

Re: Bee v Spider

I think they would both die. The spider because it has been stung and the bee because it has stung the spider.

The spider, unless the bee can extract itself from the web.
