Grenfell chickens come home to roost?

Looks like Grenfell chickens are at last coming home to roost,
at long last imo?
Both the materials used and the method of application have been
implicated in the blame game currently going on, with the materials
getting the major share of the blame up to now!
There was also an element of penny pinching in the financial
shenannigans that took place between the local council and the
contractors, and nobody comes out of the affair with any credit at
all?
Lets hope the that justice will at last be served soon??

It's a total clustermuck with the cladding having been used in a way that was outside it's spec and people responsible for ensuring such a thing not happening did not do their job. What a shower.

Shouldn't the council have sent somebody out to inspect the finish job? You can't even build a garage round here without the building inspector visiting at every stage....

Of course but they didn't. Nor was due diligence employed from begining to fire. There was systemic failure.
