Act your Age

Is there some unwritten rule/law how people of an older age should behave.

Do we stop/refrain from doing things we did in our younger days, not because of a loss of interest, or we can’t….. but people our age don’t do that.

Mrs M walking the dog, bumped into someone we know, who was with her friend going up and down this quiet walk way….. on their newly purchased electric scooters, the ones you usually see kids speeding on.

Stopping with embarrassed giggles, she explained to my wife, there were bought to use when they go out on their walks, on one of the many country treks around here….. to use uphill on as a rest bite….. And they were here practising.

Now we know the one lady, her husband passed away about two ago…. she is 64 or 65yrs old, her friend my wife assumed was of the same age.

Returning home, telling me…. I kind of screwed my face and said “ What “…. Where as my wife wished she never had the dog as she would have loved to had a go.

Hi

Getting older is great.

No job to lose and the freedom to do what you want.

Truly a burning question. If I were younger, I'd give it some thought

Can’t you just pretend and then come back with your findings?

In answer to your question, when Clive Dunn reached 70+ himself, did he have to act the age which he always acted on Dad's Army?

You could ask Clarkson (the man of your dreams) directly.

In fact, while you're chatting to him, it might be worth slipping in how you set up an honesty box business but some crook nicked £80k from it, and would he be OK to reimburse you.
