Unable to come to terms with retirement?

Jacques Chirac's Maltese terrier has bitten his master several times since leaving office; he has been 'retired' to a farm

He probably needed someone to take him for some nice long walks.

You'd have thought that since his 'master' had so much time on his hands he would have got lots of walks and attention. Hope the little dog is having a great life now.

Some people eh! Bet they never looked after the dog themselves and had people running around doing it all for them!

Mrs Obama is in charge of walking him, the President handles the poop-scooping! Truly!

Re: Unable to come to terms with retirement?

About a 15 minute bus ride away. But I worked 2 blocks away for 15 years when our offices were at 15th & Pennsylvania Avenue ...rode past it twice a day.

We were on the 4th floor with windows overlooking the Avenue; got to watch all the parades in those pre-terrorist days...watched the Kennedy funeral cortege among others.
