Channel 4 tonight
There are not many film I enjoy nowadays.
I find they are either repeats of the repeats, or American cop films full of screeching tyres and shootings or James Bond for at least the 50th time!
Tonight was different.
I have just watched a lovely film on Ch.4 at 9.15 called
' Finding Your Feet,' with Imelda Staunton, Celia Imrie and Timothy Spall.
At last, a warm hearted film with a decent story. A start, middle and end - and even a lovely happy ending.
No one got murdered, no violence, no silly car chases and screeching tyres, and no blood and guts every other scene, just a lovely warm story about an older lady finding love again after her wealthy husband cheated on her.
Best film I've seen on the box for ages - loved it.
Did anyone else see it?
