Hand-stitched items

Mrs mart makes one item after another and these are the latest. Stitching rather than beading this time..

Ooooh those are lovely Mrs Mart. Well done!

I prefer hand stitching things, much more satisfying I think.
Although I'm not sure I could make something so small these days, my hands are starting to protest.

Mrs mart says thanks. I think these were made as something to do with some material that she had. I don't know what she'll do next but her hands are always busy making something.

Yes, I can relate to that, as I think a few others on here can. There's nowt like getting lost in making something and feeling the satisfaction of a job well done
Sometimes I used to spend hours on something and if it looked naff, it ended up in the bin, or if possible cut up and put aside for something else

I know how important perfectionism can be Pesta.

Mrs mart won't have anything looking not quite right. I've seen her take a bead creation apart that was nearing completion just because she'd noticed a tiny bead not positioned how it should be. I couldn't see the mistake but she knew it was there and that was enough reason to take it apart as far back as the errant bead and start again.

Re: Hand-stitched items

Wonderful items, Mart! She has a good eye for colors, and skills for sewing; that takes patience.
