Cool and cloudy here today.

Off to the butcher when he opens at 7.00am - need some chicken - going to make some chicken Kievs.

Then it is back to the writing - the novel is going well - so far!

Ah Wednesday how were you? Not so cool last night but still just into single figures, today was only warmish with temperatures just making 20°. A bit overcast, not the horizon to horizon blue skies of recent days.

With any luck it might rain tonight we have only had 9mm this month so far.

A cold start to the day, but sunny and no wind.

I can go fishing from today, but stuck inside looking after Guy.

A trip out for prescriptions later.

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all!

A chilly start here. Some sunny spells after a cloudy start, but perhaps with the odd shower
is the forecast. Maximum temperature 13ºC.

Nothing planned for today at all. Household chores, clean the car, clean the windows,
gardening – decisions, decisions!

Good morning everyone

Nothing much planned.... I was supposed to be tackling my bedroom yesterday but I did some painting in the kitchen instead and it looks nice

Not sure what to do today.....hope it warms up a bit

Good morning all, cool overnight again at 5 degs but a hard frost forecast for tonight, so gardeners beware, I've already lost my runner beans to the cold but luckily I have a few more started in the greenhouse so fingers crossed !

Just back from walking the dogs and having a coffee before making a chicken pie for lunch, and then I must water the vegetable patch this afternoon as it's as dry as a bone.

Good morning everyone

Like Barry my runner beans have been hit by frost but I do have a second lot in pots. Sadly my early potatoes which were looking great have been badly hit although covered with polythene I am hoping I can remove the damaged foliage and they will recover enough to keep the tubers fed.

I am going to do some jobs in the garden if it warms up a bit.

Good morning all a bit chilly out but looks like a dry day ahead.

I will be out in the garden this afternoon, fortunately my plants haven’t been affected by the nightly drop in temperatures.

I’ve started using my exercise bike again since being isolated indoors, it was hard work at the beginning but I’ve now got up to half an hour a day, that suits me fine, at least it’s a bit of exercise for my old legs.

A very late good morning from me.

I've been sleeping badly so took a travel sickness pill last night that I knew would knock me out. I should be good to go for another week now!!

Walking & gardening are on the agenda today but first got to wait in for a parcel delivery that requires a signature.

I just had left over curry on toast for lunch.

I have 100 frozen black lugworm arriving later today too so that means I'm fishing some time this week.
