spitting

People keep spitting on the pavement outside my house and today a young man actually leaned in a spat into my garden
I HATE this vile and terrible habit. They do not realise I can see them from my lounge and get quite shocked when I shriek at them like a banshee

I think that's a horrible, dirty habit, too ...... I also hate to see footballers spitting, maybe that's where people have copied the disgusting habit from

No I remember them spitting as a child, then when we were riddled with TB it was an offence to spit you were booked by a passing policeman.Perhaps this is where all these unknown viruses are coming from.

I agree - It is disgusting Margaret. I hate to see people spitting in the street. What also makes me turn away in disgust is when you see footballers voiding their noses on the pitch and then spitting to finish it off.

Disgusting habit. I was listening to Jeremy Vine on Radio 2 the other week - was amazed that a couple of people rang in to say that they actually spat in the street and in gardens because of medical conditions If they really need to do this, whats wrong with having an handkerchief/tissues they can use....maybe that's too simple a solution for them!

It is a disgusting habit and people caught spitting should be made to clean up the streets of chewing gum that people spit out.

OK you got me going... lets shoot all people who spit and empty their nose, especially footballers, why do they wait till the camera is on them, they are disgusting.
