THe moon

Taken about 9pm at an angle of about 20/25 degrees from horizon. Actual colour

Nikon D810 and Nikon 70 200mm lens @200mm

Just been to put the wheelie bin out - the moon is quite spectacular - unfortunately beyond the scope of my little Canon. Venus is also visible just now - very bright.

Big as it is the moon is tricky to photograph. Either clouds get in the way or there is a haze around it. not only that but it don't stay still

I wish I had the right gear such as a telescope that a camera can be attached. I know what the boss would say if I bought one, or put another way , life would not be worth living.
