Clumsy Beggar

I was going to the shop earlier when my foot missed the step and I fell over.

Blimey, my right arm is aching and I grazed a finger quite badly.

It's a horrible feeling when you know you're going down and can't do anything about it.

Methinks I'll have a few aches and pains tomorrow.

Ouch! Yes you will the aftermath of these things always comes through the next day. Perhaps a painkiller tonight will at best allow you a comfortable nights sleep

Naw, I'll be alright. I don't do pain-killers but don't you worry, after a couple of glasses of falling down water (wine) I'll sleep well enough.

My right wrist is aching now, plus I've got a plaster on the grazed right finger, so typing is a bit difficult at the moment.

I am daft.

You know the saying Mollie.......things happen in 3's......first you fall in the freezer, now you've tripped over a step.....just make sure you're in softer surroundings next time.

PS: Hope you're okay

Thanks Pixie, but there's no swelling.

Carmen, the freezer incident was years ago so I'll have to start all over again with the things coming in threes.

Well I must say, you are putting a very brave face on it Mollie. I hope you're not too sore in the morning, at least it's not a work day

Re: Clumsy Beggar

I've been reading for the last hour to give my arm and wrist a bit of a rest, but I really am okay. I was shaking like a leaf at first, but that was just the shock.

I won't be typing much more tonight, but I've managed to put the latest Crusty chapter on, so I'll watch Casualty in a bit. That's where I nearly ended up earlier!

Re: Clumsy Beggar

Very sore now lass so typing with just left hand. Am sure I told the tale about falling into a freezer but I can't find it. Will tell you when I can use both hands.
