We have this market on sat and sun, about 10 mins away from where I live.

yes was there a few weeks ago, there are crafts, food lovely cakes and irish music bands playing each week, it is a nice place to spend a few hours

Jean you are so lucky to have a big market on your doorstep , there aren't that many over here now. Our local one went some years ago

There is a market in Hexham on a Tuesday thats not bad, but markets arent like they used to be, there is a very good Vegetable stall.I prefer outdoor markets to indoor.Garstang have a good market near Preston.and Preston used to be good but havent been for years.

Preston, which is about 10 miles away from me still has a market Annie. Do you remember Preston Pot Fair which used to be held every year on the Flag Market? Remember my Grandma taking us every year.....used to be able to get some real bargains-full dinner sets, pottery etc. for next to nothing. Sadly this no longer exists...

It looks brilliant I have a street market here friday and saturday and a farmers market once a month .But i prefer to go to Birmingham market when i can as that is great.
