Breaking news! (Barnier tested positive for Coronavirus).

Michel Barnier tested positive for Coronavirus.

That is sad and bad news. Wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Being of a cynical frame of mind, is there proof that he's actually got the virus or is it a ploy to delay the trade talks?

Ooer! I never thought of that one Judd. Surely they wouldn't be so crass as to say he actually has the virus. One would have thought they would have been more likely to have said he is self-isolating for two weeks?

As much as I think he is a plonker, I certainly wouldn't wish such a thing on anyone. He's no spring chicken at aged 69.

Hi

Some of our own Government Ministers and Civil Servants have it.

It is no great shakes, he can work from home.

The Talks have been cancelled for this week anyway.

As Boris said on TV yesterday, Brexit has not even been discussed in Cabinet for days.

We are still at the technical stage, no need for Ministers to get involved at the moment.

Boris has also said he is not going to ask for an extension.
