Re: Redwood trees

I just love to see those huge trees.
I liked the ones Muddy posted the other day, too.

They fill me with awe. Any idea how old they might be Bakerman?

Yes. Many of them are in excess of 2,000 years old.

I love spending time in the Old Growth Groves. I am thrilled and awed, as a tingling feeling runs up and down my spine.
While there is no camping allowed in the actual Giant Groves it is quite easy to find space along one of the rivers in the National forests yet still in full view of the Old Growth.

How lovely.
You are very fortunate to be able to go there.

No, I wish I had. I give grizzly bears a very wide berth. Especially if it happens to be a female with cubs. She can be unpredictable and extremely dangerous if she thinks you are a threat to her cubs.
