Casualty.

Anybody watch it last night?

So sad - it took me 10 minutes to stop crying once the programme had finished.

Re: Casualty.

I watched it Carol, like you say, it was very sad.

Yes it’s only a television programme but I have to admit to holding back the tears. I thought the ending was well handled though.

Re: Casualty.

To be fair though Art, it must be upsetting for someone watching the programme if they have someone close suffering from Dementia or Alzheimers.

Re: Casualty.

Bit harsh, Art, just because a tv drama is fiction, that doesn’t mean we can’t get upset by the acting/storyline. I wasn’t a fan of Duffy (who suffered dementia, went outside in the snow, and suffered another bleed to the brain), but I found the end very moving. It was when the department staff lined up as she was wheeled out.

I’m always in tears when watching a tv programme. Makes me human, I guess.

Jazzi, l don’t watch Casualty. As there was no clue to what the programme was about. l presumed the tears were because a dishy doctor had left or something.

So presumably this post was aimed at Casualty viewers, then.
