Times up!

Yet another 'new study' has revealed that more than a fifth of 18 - 24 year olds struggle to understand a conventional clock face with hands.

The findings indicate traditional clocks and watches could be very few and far between by the time the yonger generations reach retirement.
Experts are blaming the decline on smartphones and digital watches.

I can't imagine that anyone of 18-24 really can't tell the time on an ordinary clock!

Do you know any young people who struggle with this?

I suppose modern clocks are the digital ones, at one time people used to read the time with a sun dial lol.

Did people used to tell the time with when the birds tweeted dawn chorus? Not sure.

To be honest I don't know any young ones who can't tell the time on a normal clock.

Re: Times up!

Hmm. I'd be ruddy ticked off if my son couldn't tell the time. Sometimes I can hardly read the clock myself when I'm feeling a bit......second hand.
