My mother and I often laugh about a time a graphic scene came up on the screen when I was sitting between my mother and grandmother in a movie theater. We froze up like statues, but my mother got so tickled that she burst out laughing. So much for relaxation!
My frustration is that the world of media is trying to normalize crossing boundaries (like with whom and when certain language and sexual references are made), that I'm stubbornly not going to accept in my own home where I hope we all find as a sanctuary from the madness. I respect my kids too much.
It's a good thing we can ride bikes!
Hi
Totally agree Surfermom.
Nadi, aged 10, knows all about Lesbians, including the fact my daughter is one.
Aged 10, it is not for her, she does not like boys, smelly stupid things, but wants to be a mummy when she gets older.
Very happy with that.
She is a very intelligent, astute young lady and pretend Grandad, me, has already taught her how to look after herself.
She was comfortable enough to tell me about about an older boy, but not her Dad.
He will not be trying to grab her again, he is in too much pain.
She sorted him all herself
