The Big Red One

I was going through some old photos today when I came across this picture of a fire engine speed toward me. I took it while on Scott Kelby's International Photo-Walk, an annual affair. The photo was my entry in this contest with thousands of photographers from many countries participating. The odds of winning are astronomical considering the photographers & their locations. I didn't win.

I was 20 feet away but because of the crop I applied to the original photo it makes it appear that the engine is almost upon me.

Lovely shot of my favourite vehicle, the fire engine, still have one from my boyhood stashed in the attic somewhere (If the Wife didn't throw it out)
