Electric Shaver recommendations please.

I would like to buy an electric shaver for my Grandson's 17th birthday next month. I have no idea which make to look for or what to look for (are they age related?) ..... Mr Mags is no help as he doesn't use an electric shaver. All I know is it must have a trimmer on it.

Any recommendations from you helpful men will be much appreciated.

Re: Electric Shaver recommendations please.

I've always used a Philips Philishave Mags and never had a problem. My Dad told me when I first started shaving to use electric, but he said once you start wet shaving you will never be satisfied to go back to electric. So to this day I've never wet shaved and am still happy with the quality of shave with my Philishave.

I have used other makes of electric shavers in the past but they tend to leave me with a rash, so now I wouldn't use any other make. A bit expensive but well worth it in my opinion Mags, and they last a long time......

I've got a super duper Braun one and it's no better than the cheaper Phillip's ones.

Boots do some good deals, if it were up to me I would go back to one of the Phillip's rechargeable 3 head ones. The mega expensive ones just have weird cleaning machines that I never use.

I use a phillips aqua dry shaver , it can be used wet or dry, , boots ( as someone said ) have some offers on, incidentally, if you use a rotary shaver, then it’s best to shave using a circular motion, a foil type use in straight lines, ( who knew?)
