What's in your loft...

.........everything in mine is somebody elses! Had to go up in the loft to bring a suitcase down for my neice and realised that the only thing that belonged to me up there is one suitcase

I counted - 7 suitcases belonging to various members of my family

3 artificial christmas trees and 4 bags of christmas decorations
belonging to one of my sisters

2 baby car seats belonging to 2 of my neices-keeping them just
in case another baby comes along

1 box of photographs belonging to my brother - just in case his
house gets burned down

1 large bag of Lego bits and pieces which my brother brought for
his son to play with when he was 3-he's now 14

1 dolls house belonging to my friend - apparently reminds her of
her childhood - she's never seen it for about 10 years

Lastly 1 box of assorted tools which belongs to my brother-in-law -
'just in case he needs them at some time'-his words not mine

Maybe its time I started to charge storage fees

Practically nothing but some old magazines and a broken chair. The other junk gets stored in my unused garage.

Nothing, . . it's absolutely empty, I had to clean it out last year when I laid new insulation.

Re: What's in your loft...

Very little
We have vowed to keep our loft unpopulated since we moved home and they had to send a second vehicle because there was so much 'up above'
So, artificial xmas tree and xmas decs, 2 bent cane 'overflow' dining chairs, one large plastic dog bed (well, you never know...) and a few stout cardboard boxes which electical/entertainment equipment arrived in but are now empty.

The worst thing we ever did, and which allowed the overloading previously described, was fit an easy access loft ladder. You think twice when yu have to lug stepladders up 2 floors

Re: What's in your loft...

I hate to think!

Our loft is huge and is too convenient to store things in

Three Christmas trees of various sizes, decorations, four or five suitcases, a sackful of cuddly toys, games, books, dolls pram, dolls house, baby's bath, old typewriter, spare fluorescent lights, TV stand, spare wall tiles, various lengths of wood, empty cardboard boxes ........... and probably lots more!

Oh...... and we used to have a wasp's nest in there too!
