Desert Island

With a nod to 'Desert Island Discs', if you were stranded on a desert island and you could have a piece of music, a book and a luxury item what would you choose?

I would choose:

Music - Elgar's Cello Concerto, a beautiful haunting piece of music to help me to relax.

Book - 'Jane Eyre', my favourite book of all time.

Luxury item - a bed so that I didn't have to sleep on the ground with the creepy crawlies ...

I would be glad not to have any music as it is a sound I dislike.

I would wish to take my Kindle with me as I love reading and have hundreds of books on it. I would obviously have to ensure it has a very long life battery.

I can't think of a luxury item.

A much MUCH better title for the thread would have been
"If You Were on Desert Island Discs What Would You Choose?"

A bit verbose and it might deter people from posting. At least with the original title, posters are intrigued enough to look in and see what it's about.

Why?

Desert Island Discs consists of 10 discs, where one is chosen at the end to take plus the Bible, Complete Works of Shakespeare and a luxury item ... mine is a condensed version hence the condensed title
