Caracal

I've never heard of a Caracal but we now have 4 of them, 3 kittens, at the Portland Zoo. They are really feisty!

Re: Caracal

Yes, I know of them but never seen one in the flesh. Great pics as usual, Bob; they have huge ears, like fennecs!

Re: Caracal

Lovely shot Bob, I've never heard of a Caracal either. He looks so sculptered and lean, but look Mags, he's got a saggy tummy!

Oh yes! I hadn't noticed that, Mary

It appears they all get it, tame or wild!

Re: Caracal

Great pictures Bob, got to admit I never heard of the creature before now.
Mary I think it's a 'She' and she's pregnant, or else it's a heavy Guinness drinker.

Re: Caracal

Both male and female cats tend to get a "hangy down tummy", as a friend calls it, as they age. So she could just as easily be he.

Fantastic picture Bob of those beautiful creatures. I've not heard of them either.
