Your favourite sound?

Mine would be the sound of silence, but that is impossible even with earplugs in. I suffer from constant tinnitus which has got worse over the past 35 years.

What is your favourite sound?

Tara I have the same problem , silence is unachievable over the constant buzzing.

I am not sure I have a favourite sound there are many, I love the sound of a waterfall, newborn lambs bleating, the wind in the trees and many more things..

Re: Your favourite sound?

I can pare it down to two favourites. First one is some fine blues licks played on Fender Stratocaster through a slightly overdriven Marshall amp. Any guitarist worth their salt will find that hard to beat. Number two in simply the wind in the trees outside my window at night. It's like a lullaby to me. Even if I'm sick. Below is my favourite sound (maker) Accidently posted same pic twice. Don't know how to delete one.

A strong breeze blowing the trees around and the waves landing on my local beach.

Re: Your favourite sound?

The sound of a good old fashioned camera shutter release mechanism.

Although I don't like to hear lots going off quickly at the same time like in an American press conference, and that's so unnecessary as single-lens reflex cameras aren't essential, and anyway modern ones have a silent mode for such occasions.
