Another Stoopid Idea for Teens.

Have any of you seen these things called STRENGTH SHOES ?
They are a new kind of shoes for kids that are supposed to help them jump higher, but I saw a kid waring a pair of them the other day. It looked like he was wearing high heeled shoes with invisible heels. The shoes push the heel so high in the air I predict a shortening of the calf muscles rather then a strengthen of it, much the same as women who wear high heels all the times experience.

Mind you, maybe I could do with a pair. I'm only 5ft 4ins tall, so I'd be able to look over the crowd at bit better at the football!

There's an outfit here in the Pacific Northwest call Z-Coils. I've seen adults walking around in them on rare occasions. I don't get too worked up about what others wear since it doesn't interfere with my options. To each his/her own. https://shoes.zcoil.com/?SE=GoogleOP...FQh0gwod_XZa0w

How strange, I haven't seen those before!

I can imagine the teenagers wearing them and hopping down the road like rabbits!

Weird looking! John, if you want a tad more height, try cowboy boots! Heels.

Yeehaw!! Maam, thats just really good sense. I've just seen "Cowboys and Aliens" (good movie by the way), and by golly that would be the better option. Just need a goddang horse to go with them cowboy heels.

Sorry ... but why would kids want to jump higher? Am I missing something here?

I agree Roxy ... they could cause damage for the future in growing legs!

Just goes to prove that you can sell anything to today's youth, if you can just make it look stupid enough....

Is basketball as wildly popular in the UK as it is here? That would be a logical reason. Dunking the ball.
