Good Morning Saturday !

Good Morning everyone.

Damp and gloomy here today - doesn't tempt me to go out.

Have a gammon to cook then am going to play in the craft room. Some writing to catch up with - so will switch off the 'phone, lock the door, banish the cats (fat chance) and hibernate!

Flooded out, more rain today.

My lodgers are going home early hours of tomorrow, so on my own until the end of next week.

My son has had a massive seizure now hospitalized thousands of miles away and no chance of me getting to see him.

He is unresponsive.

Not the best of days for me, I hope yours is better.

Do you mean your house is flooded, Swimmy? That is awful.

Will they not stay and help you with the flooding?

That must be really worrying for you - can you not persuade him to come home when he is well enough to travel - even if only for a short while to relieve your anxiety about him?

Apologies for the post, you just beat me.

The honour is yours, the Mods will sort it.

The lads have flights booked, so they have to go.

The road drains cannot cope, so two inches of standing water outside the front door.

The main house is safe, it is the side passageway which I have converted into a utility room which is the issue.

The water is now flowing through it, an annoyance.

As for the rest, Guy cannot get a fit to fly and neither can I.

Morning Tabs and all who follow.

I couldn't sleep well so I ve been up since crack of dawn and now I m feeling tired!

Showered and made a chicken and pasta salad for my dads lunch, he loves my salads.

Taking him on our routine Saturday shopping at 10am then afterwards my best friend and I are going to Dewsbury market to buy fruit and veg, I m on a save money mission!

I don't really like Dewsbury as a place but it's the nearest market to me.

When I get home I m going to spring clean my kitchen, well that's the plan anyway lol

Swimmers so sorry to hear about your Son, will there be other relatives visiting him? I do hope so.
