Missed the frosts, so that is good.

A sad day for me.

Heard yesterday that an ex neighbour and friend was killed in a plane accident.

A genuinely lovely man.

He was bringing his new plane back from Canada.

Such is life.

I will be keeping myself busy today.

Morning Swimmy, sorry to hear about your friend, coincidentally I have just this minute read about it on the BBC news website before logging on here....

A touch of frost here but nothing serious, hopefully it will clear later as I was planning to cut my Mum's lawns this morning.

Sorry to read about the loss of your friend swimfeeders, life is simply not fair at times like this. Probably best as you say for you to keep yourself busy.

Another cold and damp day here by the looks of it, no frost but where is spring? I've given up even thinking about getting the lawns mowed for some time now, far too wet.

Plenty of mundane chores to do indoors so that will probably be me for the day now. That will be after putting the central heating on to take the chill off the house!

Swimmy, I too just saw this on the news on rising this morning. It must be a big shock to you. Sorry you've heard about losing your friend, particularly in the way it happened.

I'll spend the day doing one of my hobbies, knife making, at a relaxed pace, interspersed with cups of tea
