RIP Broken Britain.. You went soft on discipline!.. You went soft on immigration!You went soft on crime.. Parents were told.. 'No you can't smack the kids'....Teachers were prevented from chastising kids in schools.. The police couldn't clip a troublemaker round the ear.. Kids had rights blah blah blah.. Well done Britain..You shall reap what you sow.. We have lost a whole generation!!

The Human Rights Act is THE main reason we are suffering from all this grief!!When we get to the stage where children can sue their parents under this ludicrous law something is very, very wrong wrong in a country's legislative processes plus the fact that white people are assumed to be inherently racist but black people are not.
Piss-poor Immigration policies in the UK are to blame for the present situation where foreign labour is welcomed into this country and then they avail themselves of all the benefits this country has to offer whilst the manufacturing / production base of this country's economy is transferred overseas to utilise cheap labour leaving the indigenous population with no jobs and no hope.
Where else but the UK would you see a cap on SKILLED immigration yet no cap whatsoever on UNSKILLED immigration, depriving most of the UK workforce of even the most menial, low-paid jobs and perlease do NOT tell me that we need all these Eastern Europeans!! Apart from the traditional, and Annual agricultural needs, WE DON'T!!! stevmk2

Did you know that their has been research into air quality and the effects on the human brain to try to discover the reason for the apparent decrease in IQ in some sections of the population?
In some cases it seems that basic common sense or inherent learning from experience is being bred out of people and scientists could not find an explanatory link to any of the normal causes that they would have investigated - except a slight reduction in oxygen levels plus an increase in air pollution. This was written off at first because the measurements were minute but in China they've been studying it for many years and found that it could have a cumulative effect over generations.
We already know that thousands of years ago the air quality on earth was far better with an oxygen level of anything up to 10% higher than we have now and if you were to bring a Neanderthal from the distant past back to life now he'd struggle to breathe our air and probably need medical assistance. Makes you wonder..........

I'm not a scientist, but there's a common sense reason why IQ has been lowered over the years and this is my theory.
Back in the day when babies were pushed around in coach-built prams and were at high level, at a time when there were fewer vehicles on the road, the babies weren't contaminated by exhaust fumes.
Today, babies are pushed around in buggies, at exhaust pipe level, and the exhaust contains no less than four carcinogens, which is more than cigarette smoke. In other words, stick a baby in a room full of cigarette smoke and it won't be affected as much as pushing a child around in a buggy through a town or city chugging out exhaust fumes.
There are more kids today with asthma and allergies than there have ever been, and I believe that this is part of the cause of it. Put this theory together with the garbage kids eat today, then you have a primordial soup of toxic inhilation along with rubbish in food.
That's my theory anyway.

Well said Roxy . . . and it's oh so true . . . . a dad speaking on TV last night in reply as to his sons behaviour during the riots said . . "what are we supposed to do ? we cant hit him, it's illegal, we can't lock him in his room, it's illegal " . . . the nanny state has failed I'm afraid.
