They expect the fairies that pick their clothes up of the floor to do it!

Hi

Invest in a smart lighting system Muddy, he will love it.

Mine will be controlled from my Google Home and it will also have motion sensors, turning the lights on and off in the hallway, landing, stairs and kitchen.

Buy him one for Christmas, solve your problem.

Both my husband and I make a point of turning off lights, no point in wasting electricity.

Re: Why don't men turn off lights ?

That's a somewhat biased claim Muddy. Just because your old fella doesn't turn your lights off doesn't mean that all men are the same. When the girls stilled lived at home, my hobby was going round turning all the lights off they left switched on, even during the day.

As with Swim, most of my lights are now controlled by my Amazon Echos which switch the lights on and off by voice, one lamp being turned on automatically for security purposes. Even then, that lamp has low-energy bulb.

I have a terrible habit of turning off lights, along with everything else that isn't fulfilling a useful purpose, sometimes much to the chagrin of my dearest lady wife....

I'm always muttering because mine does turn them off. Leave them on so I can see too please. Mind you he has a point I can be inclined to forget
