Another "new" Top Gear
With the amiable and decidedly good Matt LeBlanc hanging up his racing helmet, Paddy McGuinness and Andrew Flintoff have been installed as two new presenters on BBC2's next series of Top Gear. A 'comedian' and a cricketer.
Are these two a good choice?
Are they petrolheads and do they know their cars?
Is the BBC so desperate to retain their flagship programme so much that any so-called "celebrity" will do?
I know Jeremy Clarkson had his faults but with Richard Hammond and James May at least there was a team which worked extremely well on TV.
Thoughts please...is this programme's engine in dire need of some new oil?
