Teenage magazines

When we were too old for comics (except for "Viz" of course), most of us progressed into our teenage years with a favourite magazine. Smash Hits was mine, I used to sing all those chart songs at school.
What was yours?

No magazines but used to read Melody Maker and New Musical Express every week.

Yeah, I was also a Smash Hits reader and what was that little mag that gave all the words to the top singles? It might have been called the Record songbook.

As I got a bit older, I used to get Custom Car magazine which had an array of fantastic cars and some other things I enjoyed looking at.

I have no recollection of any Teenage magazines. We were only permitted certain comics when I was a child. I reckon those sort of mags would have been a big NO, NO, even if I had been interested in them, which I wouldn't have been.

I remember getting a serious telling off at school for looking at a 'porn' mag in class, I let him go on a bit but then pointed out that it was actually Custom car magazine.
