Ray Galton RIP

Sad loss today Ray Galton has passed away, one of our finest comedy writers.

Thanks for all the laughs, wonderful memories over the years.

Their work has stood the test, forever timeless classics. Steptoe and son being one sitcom that made it in USA.

Apparently Wilfred Brambell, who played Steptoe senior, was not a pleasant man, he was accused of child sexual abuse perpetrated alongside his buddy Saville!

Why did you think that remark/observation had any relevance to this particular thread. As far as I know, the behaviour of that nasty little male actor had absolutely nothing to do with the very clever comedy writer Ray Galton ? RIP Mr. Galton, you brought much laughter into thousands of households.
