The Mentalist

For fans of this programme (like me for instance), it is being shown on Freeview's 'Your TV' from the very start. It's a detective series about a crime agency investigating unusual crimes with the help of a 'Mentalist', someone with a special talent for noticing minor details that other members of the unit miss. A bit of humour thrown in for good measure.

I was a bit but it hasn't put me off watching the series again.

No, I might watch it again. Although knowing who Red John is might.

I do quite fancy the actor (Simon Baker). But his character in this doesn't stretch his acting talents.
