The Best Things In Life Are Free...Aren’t They?

The old saying, ‘The Best Things In Life Are Free’, says they are, so it must be true! Or, is that saying, a load of rubbish?

Oh yeah, Blackberries, Damsons, Sloes - they all grow 'wild' and are there for the picking all one needs is to add some sugar and a bottle of Gin to make very tasty liqueuers for Xmas.

Ooooh Joe, l wouldn’t pick any from the roadside. Imagine all those petrol and diesel fumes they have absorbed?

So maybe, there is no such thing as a free lunch!

Not sure about that one,plenty of free things to do,but we need money to eat,don't we?..because it isn't free,for most of us anyway,quite a few who are self sufficient .they must save a fortune,

Best freebies in the world to me are -

My health
Having all 5 senses working well
Seeing nature
Being able to smile and feel content
Being able to feel love and compassion


Might seem a strange list, but all of those are very important to me, and I really appreciate each of them.

Mups, Not strange at all, they made my heart sing and l’m not usually a slushy person at all!

Can we have some more slushy, l like it!

Yes some of them are such as an unexpected kindness examples ...
..when I lived in Somerset someone left vegetables on my doorstep in the early morning...
..when the Lady of the Manor in Dorset who's cottage I rented arrived with a platter of oak leaves topped by a large fresh rainbow trout
..when my 7 year old grandaughter presented me with a bunch of roses last weekend (it was not my birthday or anything )...
