Alesha MacPhail

In case you haven't heard about this case, it was the funeral today of little Alesha MacPhail who was raped and murdered on the island of Bute in Scotland. The poor mite was only six years old and was enjoying a holiday with her grandparents when she went missing. Her body was found a couple of days later. A sixteen year old youth has been arrested for the crime. I can't understand what compelled someone to do this awful crime.

Everyone at the funeral was wearing something pink, Alesha's favourite colour.

Absolutely heartbreaking........shed a tear watching the funeral speech from one mourner ( possibly an Uncle, not sure!)

Yes, a very moving service. The chap doing the eulogy was her uncle.

Normal people can never understand the mentality of a monster who could commit such a crime. I.m very sorry for your hurt Judd, I sense how much this dreadful story has affected you. Xxxx

We spent a lovely weekend on Bute in 2000 when we visited UK - we stayed with friends - the retired head gamekeeper for the Laird - they wined us and dined us and toured us around Bute. We thought it was a picture paradise and I feel so shocked to here of this - evil in its myriad of forms is still about - I hope they hang him [although I know they can't]
