What Anniversary Gift?

Our 41st Anniversary is on the 16th (next Monday) and my husband asked me last night what I would like as he wants me to have something that I want rather than him buy me a gift and I don't really like it,

I had said last night that I think I might like a gold belcher chain. They are quite expensive though. Now I'm thinking is that what I really want? I can't make my mind up what I would like.

If it was your anniversary what would you like to be given as a present from your husband.

I can't afford holidays or anything like that, probably no more than £150.

Get your thinking caps on and give me some ideas please.

Re: What Anniversary Gift?

Sorry Im going to be absolutely no help

Im of the thought if there is nothing that you really do want, its better to have nothing and put the money aside and add to it for the more expensive thing you do want

Me and Mr Missy never give gifts now as there is nothing that we can afford we want. so now we make memories , a concert, a weekend break etc

Rhian has a pair of pink knickers that seems to get all the members excited, so why not get the same. You never know it might be, if you wear them, another wedding night experience

I bought one of my daughters one of those Pandora silver bracelets and a couple of charms for it for her last birthday. They seem to be all the rage and she can add her own charms to it when she wants to. Quite reasonably priced too.

Re: What Anniversary Gift?

It is our golden wedding in August next year. If we make it that far, I don't want anything from my husband, and he won't want anything from me. We would like it to pass by without mention, like all the insignificant ones, but unfortunately our kids will probably have other ideas.

A new ironing board for you, and a pardon for good conduct for him.:
