There is a tradition in Wales

That is, in any competition, you support the Welsh or... any opposition of England's

However...and it may be down to some of you rather spiffing English people on here...I'm finding I'm actually gunning for England's football team right now.
They definitely deserve to be where they are and good on 'em I say

Now I'm going to hide and deny all responsibility for this thread

I’m English but I like the Welsh and have no reason not to like them ... whereas Mr Mags hates them but only when they beat us at rugby

I hold no such traditions Rhian, and had the boot been on the other foot......I would support Wales unreservedly....
We visit North Wales regularly and are indeed subject to some banter with the locals concerning the outcome of previous or forthcoming Rugby matches. I always take it with the spirit to which it is intended; Good spirited healthy banter.....

A Scotsman, and Irishman and a Welshman went into a pub.

They could you see, the English were in the World Cup.
