Socially Lazy

Last week I readily accepted an invitation to a barbecue this afternoon.

While I know it will be enjoyable - good people, music, and fun - I'm now dreading it.

I seem to be getting worse about this as time goes along.

Save me.

Ooo, UJ, I keep forgetting to tell you that it's Suzie, not Lee, although I've been called much, much worse .

Relaxation could be a good thing except that I forgot to mention that I have do drive through The Land of Tourists to get there.

Not sure there's enough champagne in France to get me to de-stress after that .

This is me, except I wouldn't have accepted the invitation at all. I get more and more anti social the older I get. I just can't be bothered with it all

If what you are describing is considered ‘socially lazy’ then I would be ‘socially paralyzed.’

I really dislike being social most times.
