I got my new sofas
..and what a difference it's made to my living room.Previously I had 2 3-seaters, this time I opted for 2 2-seaters. The room seems a lot larger as a result. They are a dark navy in colour and go well with my other furnishings.
The old ones had really had it; they were here when I moved in 11 years ago and had definitely seen better days. No matter where one sat, you would sink down as they'd lost their firmness and the material under the cushions had torn. I found a 1 pound coin in one of them.
My new ones are higher up and have a very firm but comfy feel to them. One of them I've placed directly opposite my TV and speakers for optimum viewing, the other is on the side wall, more for visitors.
It's strange how new furniture can lift my spirits greatly.

awwww Ffosse, I'm really pleased to hear you are feeling uplifted. Its amazing how something as simple as new furniture can make us feel better. I remember when I got my new 2 sofas, I was really chuffed and thinking how great they looked, still do actually, I love my sofas for both the look and the comfort. You keep enjoying your surroundings Ffosse, anything that makes for a happier you is only a good thing. xxxx
