Not quite sure what is hoped to be achieved, the figures quoted in the article suggest the cost to the NHS nationally is £6 billion or 6 thousand million, the bill in London is £650 million, tis but a fraction.
Still its a good headline.
Stop the pedestrians that'll reduce the carbon dioxide emissions.

Wonder how much pollution is caused by the air conditioning in the office blocks?

Just another thought, after the clean air act of 1956 following the smog of 1952,how many per say a 1,000 die now of pollution related illness's as opposed to then.

A complete waste of time. Just more money for the government.

Air pollution in London could be reduced further if Sadiq Khan kept his mouth shut.

An excellent idea, the worst polluting cars should be banned entirely.

And if he kept up with the removal of dead and dying bodies on the pavements.
