I'm baaack ... and some good news!

The Pathology report came in just as I was being discharged this afternoon: it was a class 1 tumor and had not metastaized... lymph node biopsies all clean!! WOO HOO!!

Went in last Tuesday for the surgery, been in there till today. A lot of discomfort and some rather bad pain, but controlled and bearable with meds. Horribly boring just lying in bed for days, and you already know my thoughts on hospital food! My appetite is gone for the moment. Dr. says quite normal at this stage post surgery and will return ... I hope!

I can't thank you all enough for your expressions of support and concern!

Thats really good news to hear Eileen. I am pleased you are home again and able to relax and recover. There is nothing like your own home. Do you have Liela (? have I spelt it right) back with you?
