Search for a Father

A woman is seeking her Father,all she has is a name,which also happens to be the same as my brothers.I have no idea if it could have been him or not,he was a lot older than me and I dont remember much about him,Any advice on her search for her Dad ?

Is this the same case you've said about on a couple of other threads, the advert you saw in a shop deylon?

Silver Tabby might be able to suggest the best way forward for you, as I believe she knows a lot about ancestry checks.

Thanks pm received.Yes this is the same thing Its not really my problem and I can only communicate with the person by letter,it just seems a coincidence that he father has the same name as my brother.From what I gather she doesnt know who her father is,she has his name on her baptismal certificate as part of her name.It sounds to me that her Mother had a brief relationship with her Father then lost touch with him

Deylon - if she has her birth certificate it would be good a starting point.
