Do you hold any grudges going back to childhood?

That's a long time.

I haven't forgiven my paternal grandmother for threatening me with the tortures of hell from the age of two. She beat religion into her own six children! I used to have horrible nightmares because of her disgusting emotional abuse.

Certainly not, life's too short to hold grudges....though I do know someone who does

I suppose it depends what happened to you, I know its not heathy to hold grudges but I do. I'm not eaten up by them but I will be honest if I could go find those people who incidentally are now dead I will admit as an adult I would give them a good hard slap around the chops..... and it would feel soooo good

I'd find that hard to forgive.

I do not hold grudges - don't see the point - life is too short and too precious.

My mother used to - she remembered everything we children ever did wrong from the day we were born and was fond of reminding us. She died a very bitter and friendless old woman.

I only hold a grudge against my Sister as we don't talk to each other any more now and I am glad. Otherwise I had a good childhood.

Re: Do you hold any grudges going back to childhood?

I don't hold grudges exactly. I might be annoyed for a while, but find it better to accept what's past because we can't change it.

I don't want to waste my life feeling bitter about things I can't undo.
