Wanting a wee can be dangerous!

Had a household 'incident' today!! Rushed into the bathroom at lunchtime for a wee and being as I live in a house of standy uppy pee'ers I had to put the seat down grrrr as I did the lid followed at full speed and smacked me right on the boney wrist below my thumb It swelled instantly and bruised in an hour and I took it to A&E where it was xrayed and im now in a splint cos its sunday and plaster techs aren't 'in'!! So I have to drive all the way back in the morning to be plastered for a fortnight

Oh Cassie, how painful for you I had a smile on my face when I first started reading your post but the end result soon wiped that away ....... what is it with men that they must leave the seat up

I hope you've had your wrist plastered by now and the pain is easier soon...

Thanks Mags Yes im now sporting a rather nice purple coloured cast!! I had a choice of 6 but purple is my fave colour lol I cant pick my birds up now though as I cant get my glove on!

i suppose you could superglue the seat down but then you`d have to clean the splashes off before use.

Commiserations Cassie, looks like you're having quite a bad time of it lately, what with the chimney fire and now this, so I won't even mention things happening in threes ....

Hope your wrist improves soon Cassie....just glad I don't have the problem of men and toilet seats....except when my Brother and Nephew come to visit!!!!!!!
